8+ years experience with testing of Workday HR/Payroll or other cloud HCM platform

To thrive as a Workday Test Lead, you need expertise in software testing methodologies, Workday HCM or Financials functional knowledge, and experience in end-to-end testing of enterprise systems. Familiarity with test management tools, automated testing frameworks, and Workday certification or similar credentials are highly valued. Leadership, excellent communication, and strong problem-solving abilities distinguish top performers in this position. These skills ensure effective test planning, team coordination, and successful delivery of high-quality Workday implementations.
As a Workday Test Lead, your primary responsibilities include developing and overseeing the test strategy, creating test plans and scripts, coordinating test execution, and managing defect tracking throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with functional consultants, developers, business stakeholders, and end-users to ensure test coverage and quality requirements are met. Additionally, you’ll mentor junior testers and may be involved in automating regression testing for future releases. This role provides ample opportunities to build leadership skills, collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, and gain deep technical expertise in the Workday ecosystem.
